Santa Cruz Syndicate Welcome Shimano

Early season testing started for the Santa Cruz Syndicate with mechanics, engineers and riders arriving in the town of Imperia, Italy, for three days of extensive testing aboard the latest Santa Cruz full carbon V-10s. The bikes were decked out with the Syndicate’s newest sponsor products from Fox and Shimano. Grand Slam at World Champions CycloCcross for Shimano and PRO!

Last weekend the World Championships cyclo cross were held in Koksijde, Belgium. In all four categories the new Word Champions won their titles on SHIMANO and PRO equipped bikes, a true Grand Slam!Niels Albert dominated the men’s race from start to finish. Albert blasted away in the opening lap and his competitors never saw him again until the award ceremony. SHIMANO assisted him with  DURA-ACE Di2 group sets, C35 wheels, PRO stem, handlebar and saddle and SHIMANO eyewear and shoes.At the women’s race, Marianne Vos took the lead at the start and never gave her leading position away. Thor’s Villopoto Back on the Podium in Oakland

After narrowly missing the podium in Los Angeles, Ryan Villopoto grabbed a good start and stayed close to the front in Oakland, earning his third podium in four races at the fourth round of the Monster Energy Supercross. Teammate Jake Weimer put together a good ride in eighth, while Tickle and Metcalfe finished 13th and 14th, respectively.   In the Supercross Lites class, Thor’s Dean Wilson put in a valiant effort in Oakland to earn a 10th-place finish after going down on the second lap and got up in last.
