Madison is pleased to announce its continuing support of British road racing by providing neutral service support at the upcoming Women’s Tour and Tour of Britain later in the year.

Neutral service support at both races will be officially sponsored by Freewheel.co.uk (Your Local Bike Shop Online) , Shimano and Vittoria and Madison has teamed up with Tony Barry who provides neutral service support at all UK domestic races. Neutral service cars will be equipped with bikes running Shimano groupsets and wheels, Vittoria tyres and a range of spares from the Madison own brands . Neutral service support cars are a vital part of major road cycling races and will be on hand to support riders that suffer any mechanicals throughout the race.

A key date in every rider’s calendar, the Women’s Tour and Tour of Britain have been a staple for showcasing domestic talent against the World Tour and Madison has stepped in to ensure that riders and their bikes will be well looked after.

Earlier this year, British Cycling announced that both races will go ahead with a new vision for major cycling events in Britain.

Dominic Langan, CEO at Madison and Sportline said “I am very proud of Madison for supporting the Women’s Tour of Britain and the Tour of Britain this year with neutral service support. For the last two decades we have supported these races as well as British road racing in general in various guises as we value the importance of doing so in inspiring the next generation of cyclists.”

Darren Henry, British Cycling Commercial Director, said:

“We’re hugely thankful to our friends at Madison for their support for this year’s Lloyds Bank Tour of Britain events, in the latest chapter of a longstanding and much-valued partnership between our organisation and their family of brands. Madison join a growing family of partners supporting this year’s Tour of Britain races and our wider vision for major events in Britain, helping us to deliver world-class event experiences and extend our investment in the sport at all levels.”
