(durable water repellent) spray that
solves many of the problems associated with existing waterproofing products.
Unlike most other fabric proofing sprays, Gtechniq
Fabric Proof needs no heat activation to work, which removes the need for harsh
tumble-drying that can cause damage to delicate cycling clothing. To apply, simply
spray onto clean, dry garments, wait 3 hours to air-dry and enjoy class-leading
water repellency whilst maintaining fabric breathability.
What's more, Fabric Proof has high abrasion
resistance, perfect for higher-wear areas such as the shoulder whilst wearing
backpacks or under the arms. Gtechniq Fabric Proof also lasts up to 10 wash
cycles, 3-4 times more than typical fabric proofers meaning less future
reproofing and better value for money.
This state-of-the-art formula can be used on a wide range of garments, from
simply reproofing waterproof clothing, to adding water repellency to jerseys,
bibs/tights, softshell jackets, trousers and footwear as well as other
technical or outdoor kit. Lastly, Fabric Proof has anti-microbial properties to
keep riding gear fresher, for longer - ideal when riding in wetter conditions
where odours can appear over time.
A 500ml
bottle will protect approximately 4 garments (although this will depend on
application and garment size). As a guide, a 250ml bottle can protect a long
sleeved jersey, a set of trousers/tights and a pair of gloves. A 500ml
bottle can protect 2 sets of trousers/tights, a hooded jacket and a
long-sleeved jersey.
