Madison is the UK’s leading distributor of cycle parts and accessories. We work with some of the World’s biggest and best bicycle brands alongside our own designed and developed products. As part of our service to our customers, we manufacture a wide variety of bicycle wheels.
Our wheel building production is in a period of substantial growth, and we are looking for an ambitious individual to help us accelerate that through the coming years.
We’re looking to recruit a Wheel Build Assistant. The individual will assist the wheel builder with preparation and completion of products, ensuring efficiency of production is maximised.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Assisting the wheel builder with tasks as required.
• Prepare components ready for the production process.
• Packing & labelling of completed products.
• Work efficiently within a set time frame.
• Maintain a safe, hazard free and clean work environment.
• Basic IT skills including MS office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
Ideally the Candidate Will Have the Following Qualities
• An appreciation for manufacturing & warehousing, ideally with prior experience.
• Production line experience.
• Methodical approach and the ability to investigate problems in a logical manner.
• Good hand-eye coordination.
• Good team player.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong work ethic with a positive, resourceful can-do attitude.
The role is full time 37.5 hours per week. Working hours 8am – 4:15 pm (can potentially adjust hours)
