Madison is the leading distributor of branded cycle components and accessories in the UK & Ireland. As part of our continuous development and growth in providing technical training support for our customers we wish to recruit a Shimano Technical Rep to work within our Shimano team.
Predominantly based at our Shimano Technical facility in Milton Keynes, key responsibilities include:
- Manage, co-ordinate and recruit new dealers to our Shimano Service Centre network
- Deliver Technical support training to dealers at our on-site facility
- Support our Sales Teams and retailers with training on current and new Shimano products, services and bikefitting
- Deliver, and attend Shimano supported events (some travel involved)
Reporting to the Senior Shimano Brand Manager and working as part of a close-knit team, to be considered for this role you will have worked in a similar technical or teaching role, be very organised, have a full driving license and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, in particular Outlook, Excel and Word. Ideally you will have a Cytech Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
You will need to have a flexible approach to working hours as you will be expected to cover events at weekend periods.
