Madison is the UK’s largest Distributor within the cycle industry, and is now looking for a Key Accounts Manager to look after a portfolio of key accounts. The position is field based although an element of the role will also be spent at our head office located in Milton Keynes. The successful applicant will have a solid, proven record in business development and relationship management. This should ideally be within a multi-brand environment. They should be able to think strategically, commercially and be adaptable within a dynamic and progressive business and market place.
As Key Account Manager, you must be hard-working, a great communicator, positive, self-motivated, results driven and able to develop trust relationships with a portfolio of key customers. The goal is to contribute in sustaining and growing our business to achieve long-term success.
Key Account Manager Requirements and Qualifications:
• Previous working experience as a Key Account Manager.
• Experience of working in a multi brand distributor environment a bonus.
• BSc/BA in Sales, Business Administration or similar relevant field experience/qualification.
• Applicable experience of sales performance metrics.
• Outstanding communication, presentation and leadership skills.
• Must be comfortable addressing a board of directors as well as coordinating operations managers, marketing, finance and brand personnel.
• Must be capable of long-term strategic thinking.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Customer oriented and a skilled negotiator.
• Analytical and data driven problem solver.
• Results driven.
