We are looking for a talented and well-rounded Graphic Designer to join our highly productive in-house team within our marketing department.
You will be an expert in print with a keen eye for typography. You will be confident owning our annual trade catalogue from concept to sign-off as well as assisting the team in the creation of other marketing collateral.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Take sole responsibility and ownership of the annual trade catalogue working to agreed print deadlines
- Work within the constraints of individual brand guidelines and brief specifications whilst challenging existing campaigns and ensuring the creatives are ever evolving
- Support the Design Manager in conceiving creative concepts and design projects for both print and digital channels that meet the requirements of the marketing briefs
- Provide creative support to the wider design team and business wherever necessary
Required knowledge, skills and abilities:
- A proven track record working in a graphic design role (essential)
- Previous experience in handling large page count catalogues or documents
- A flair for design and creativity
- Strong working knowledge of Adobe CC InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong typography, layout and artworking skills
- Positive, self-motivated and a creative conceptual thinker with a keen eye for detail
- Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate with key business stakeholders
- The ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to sign off
- Knowledge of the print process
- Experience with video and digital would be advantageous
- An interest in cycling is helpful but not essential
