Madison is the leading distributor of branded cycle components and accessories in the UK. As part of our continuous development, we are now seeking to recruit a Product Manager responsible for managing our own brand parts and accessories portfolio.
The own brand product manager role carries a broad range of responsibilities that include.
- Product sourcing
- Product development
- Range planning & pricing
- Packaging design
- Developing a go to market strategy
- Ensure our offering is relevant to current market trends
- Identify new product development opportunities
Reporting directly the Brand Director you will work closely with our Sales team, Marketing team, Dealers and Suppliers to help deliver key targets for your brand portfolio. Previous experience of buying or merchandising in a cycling or sports equipment environment is essential. This role also requires international travel.
We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and build collaborative working relationships with our suppliers and sales force. You must be PC literate and commercially astute with an interest in cycling.
