The Challenge Mallorca held from the 3rd to the 7th of February was the first international outing for the newly formed Madison Genesis road team, and was a great success for all involved.
Although young, the team held its own in the pro peloton against the likes of Bradley Wiggins from Team Sky, and Omega Pharma’s Tony Martin. They even proved how much potential they have when the whole team worked together to help Ian Bibby finish 10th on an extremely hard and mountainous stage. If this is a sign of things to come, then we can look forward to an extremely successful season!
